Dorcas Wamalwa is a sustainability consultant and climate champion with over a decade of experience in sustainable project development across clean energy, sustainable transport, education, community development, and manufacturing. She leads initiatives that promote climate resilience, innovation, and community-driven development. Internationally recognized for her work in e-mobility transition and transport decarbonization, she has been a finalist and award winner in global green energy competitions and has represented Africa as a speaker at the AU–EU High-Level Innovation Agenda in Nairobi and Cape Town, as well as the EU DigiLogic Forum in Helsinki, Finland, championing African-led technologies and sustainable solutions for the continent.
David Mutugi is the Director of Programmes at CISCAR, an educator, climate champion, and development practitioner passionate about empowering communities through climate action, innovation, and strategic partnerships. He has extensive experience in youth development, STEM education, project management, and the blue economy, championing sustainable solutions that drive resilient livelihoods and inclusive growth. He is also the Founder of Bride of Hope Community Based Organisation (BOH), where he leads transformative community development initiatives focused on youth empowerment, education, social inclusion, climate resilience, and sustainable livelihoods.
Elly Winston Apunda is an innovation strategist, technology leader, and social entrepreneur passionate about leveraging digital innovation to drive sustainable development and community transformation. As the Director of Innovation & Digital Transformation at CISCAR, he leads the integration of technology, strategic partnerships, and innovative solutions to advance climate resilience, youth empowerment, digital inclusion, and sustainable livelihoods. He is also the Founder and CEO of SAVIT Global Solutions, an innovation-driven organization developing scalable digital and climate-tech solutions that address environmental, social, and economic challenges.
